Sun over Moon
Can a frame most adequately capture happiness?
Does a sandwich maker know
the Baker’s joy when he sees his smile?
When he sits for dinner?
If dinner is a delight yet
the Baker has frowned
What can we know?
Charming conversation, wide smile
teeth come to pieces yet
Of stale bread at the table
What are we to surmise?
Passion travels merrily along the calendar of his craft
playing hopscotch as she sees fit
Yet he believes her to share his bed and heart
The Moon is over the Sun.
